Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
Yes, the minimum stay is 2 nights. Outside peak season we may consider 1-night stays – just ask.
Yes. Belton House is dog-friendly, with up to 4 dogs welcome at £30 per dog.
With our Full Experience option you get exclusive use of the indoor heated pool, which is attached to the house with direct access from inside, plus the hot tub, sauna and karaoke. With House Only, you can hire the hot tub, sauna and karaoke separately and book pool sessions through Lowther Leisure Facilities.
All bookings are paid in three instalments: one-third at booking, one-third 90 days before arrival and the balance 28 days before arrival. A refundable £500 security deposit is pre-authorised on your card 2 days before arrival.
Hen parties are very welcome. We don’t accept large groups under 25, and all-male groups and stag parties are welcome by prior agreement.
In Wanlockhead, Scotland’s highest village, in the Lowther Hills of Dumfries & Galloway – about an hour’s drive from Glasgow and around 1¼ hours from Edinburgh. There is free parking at the house.
